NYS MVAIC  ( The Motor Vehicle Accident Indemnification Corporation) that provides  payment to individual injured by uninsured drivers.  This requires a Notice to MVAIC as soon as we become aware through our due diligence as your counsel that the insurance is non -existent or insufficient to cover the scope of your injuries for pain and suffering  and economic loss.

HOW TO OBTAIN A RECOVERY AGAINST YOUR OWN INSURANCE POLICY

To the extent your damages are not sufficiently covered by the offending vehicles insurance, you may proceed against your own policy’s SUM (Supplemental Underinsured Motorist) coverage.

 In this case, we may be required to arbitrate with your insurer to guarantee that you get the full amount of coverage that you have been paying for,  and recover what    is warranted under the circumstances.

We will hire economists and use expert medical witnesses if need be at our own expense if necessary  to prosecute such claims on your behalf.  We will only be reimbursed for these expenditures and any other associated expenses if there is a recovery.
